What is BOTOX?

BOTOX is a type A botulinum toxin that temporarily blocks the nerve impulses directed towards the muscle into which it is injected.

The procedure

After a prior consultation to discuss your medical history and suitability for the treatment you will be scheduled for the procedure . The treatment takes about 15 minutes during which time you skin will be disinfected, injection sites will be marked and your aesthetic practitioner will inject the treatment into each of the areas to be treated.

How long does it last?

The results of the treatment will take up to 2 weeks to take effect. At this point you will have a review and if any further 'top up' treatment is required this will be done all under the initial cost. The results of your treatment will last anywhere between 3 to 6 months dependent on your physiology. At least 3 months must pass between treatments.
